Invite Me

I wish I could buy more time to spend talking with
my friends, especially my best friend.
Life has just gotten so busy and complicated.
If this is growing up, then I don't want to experience it.

I miss talking to a meaningful person
(not that everyone else is nothing to me) but....
a best friend...just knows you like no one else does...

Those benches invite me all the time,
and I just wish you would come along one day
and sit down beside me.
